The South West of England is a valhalla for walkers and ramblers and Maidencombe is lucky enough to sit upon the South West Coastal Path. For more information about all the paths and styles in Maidencombe please see Jim Campbell’s Map “Fields of Maidencombe“.
Maidencombe also marks the beginning of the John Musgrave Trail.
The John Musgrave Heritage Trail is a 35 mile walking trail encompassing parts of Torbay, South Hams and Teignbridge. It was launched in March 2006 in memory of John Musgrave, former chairman of the South Devon Group of the Ramblers’ Association, whose generous legacy to the group on his death in 2003 has been used to fund the development of the trail.
For more information about the trail, visit the South Devon Rambler’s website.
Below is a map, located on the Brixham side, outlining the route. Detailed maps can also be bought from the Ramblers’ website.
