A question was posed regarding Bell Copse at a recent open meeting of the Neighbourhood Plan. Andrew Gunther (Strategic Planning) was asked whether Green Space protection could be afforded to a wood or copse which had free public access rights. The example cited was Bell Copse (see map) which has the South West Coast Path running through it. Andrew Gunther suggested that a copse could be included. The two other areas for special protection from development are the Village Green and the historic Cider Orchard.
