Torbay Greenspace Forum Chair Margaret Forbes-Hamilton had stated prior to the meeting that ‘if you only went to one meeting this year, this would be the one’ and was rewarded with a very well attended meeting, demonstrating the commitment that various Friends Groups in Torbay have for the protection of green spaces in Torbay. All credit to the relatively newly-formed Torbay Community Development Trust for organising a comprehensive and informative four hour plus meeting, including various video presentations and a lunch break at their premises in Temperance Street.
The MCG was well represented by Doug Palmer, Jim Campbell and Carl Taylor. Also present were TCCT Director Damien Offer, Neil Coysh for Torbay Council Natural Environment and Chair for the meeting, Tracey Cabache of the TCDT.
