The Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust has been contacted by South Devon Ramblers with a view to placing a memorial seat on Maidencombe Village Green to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the opening of the John Musgrave Heritage Trail.
This is only at the investigation stage as funds have not yet been released but the TCCT would support this initiative if residents are in agreement.
The Heritage Trail actually commences in the Cider orchard but there are factors that would make this logical positioning of a memorial seat impractical such as stock grazing and security.
